Not all businesses are eligible to use Cornwall Brand. The initiative is aimed largely at those who operate in the knowledge economy sector. Businesses eligible to use the brand need to demonstrate one or more of the following principals:
- Spirit of innovation
- Promote Cornwall’s entrepreneurial expertise
- Forward looking, represent a dynamic Cornwall
- Key driver in contributing to long-term economic sustainability
- Distinctive; doing something new / unusual, firsts for Cornwall / UK
- Good ambassador for Cornwall; visionary; inspiring; quality
